This was a tenant improvement (TI) alteration project in an existing office building with a total project area of 35,000 sf. The TI included open office areas, private offices, phone rooms, huddle rooms, conference rooms, a micro-kitchen pantry, a catering cafeteria, and a motion capture studio for this video game company. It also included a new shower room and Mother's room. The majority of the MEP system was replaced.

I joined as the Project Architect in the middle of the Schematic Design phase, where Meta asked us to trim the program in half due to COVID-19 Pandemic-related downsizing. This was one of the few construction projects in the Bay Area that Meta did not freeze during the pandemic.

I was fully involved in the project until CA and closeout. The client later thanked us for helping them attract workers back into the office with all the cool and comfortable spaces that made the workers feel like at home.
